Mallory Minor, MPA, MPS
Mallory Minor is a proud Georgia native with more than 19 years of distinguished experience in legal support, legislative affairs, judicial administration, and local government leadership. Her career began in the legal field as a Paralegal and has evolved into a legacy of trailblazing leadership, public service, and community impact.
Throughout her career, Mallory has served in several prominent roles, including Legislative Clerk’s Assistant with the Georgia General Assembly, Magistrate Clerk of Court for Rockdale County, Municipal Clerk of Court, City Clerk for two municipalities, and Court Administrator. She made history as the first African American woman to serve as Magistrate Clerk of Court in Rockdale County, demonstrating her commitment to excellence and representation in public service.
Known for her innovative and community-centered approach to leadership, Mallory spearheaded impactful outreach initiatives such as the Smart Justice video series, youth law camps, and student mentoring programs designed to educate and empower future leaders. Her dedication to professional development and public engagement has also extended statewide through leadership roles with the Council of Magistrate Court Clerks and the Georgia Municipal Court Clerks’ Council, where she served as District Four Representative and Editor of both the Reporter’s Notebook and the Clerk’s Docket.
In addition to her public service career, Mallory is also a professor at a local college, where she is committed to educating and mentoring the next generation of paralegals and legal professionals. Through teaching, she continues to share her extensive real-world experience and passion for legal education with aspiring students entering the profession.
A graduate of Leadership Rockdale’s Class of 2016, Mallory collaborated with civic and business leaders to address critical issues impacting communities across the region. Her educational background is equally impressive. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies, an Associate of Applied Science in Paralegal Studies, and an ABA-Approved Certificate in Paralegal Studies from Clayton State University. She also holds both a Master of Professional Studies and a Master of Public Administration from Tennessee State University.
Continuing her commitment to lifelong learning and leadership, Mallory has been admitted to the PhD program at the University of Alabama, marking an exciting new chapter in her academic and professional journey. Additionally, she is credentialed as a Registered Neutral through the Georgia Office of Dispute Resolution.
